Thin Out Crown
- The selective removal of foliage and growth to increase light penetration and air movement through the crown and to reduce weight.
Deadwooding The Tree
- The selective removal of dead, diseased, broken or weakly attached branches on a tree.
Elevating Lower Limbs
- Removal of the lower branches on a tree.
Height and Side Reduction
- Reducing the outer perimeter of the tree in order to lighten the weight of the limbs and enhance the tree's appearance.
